Chalice-shaped blooms in a rich orange-red. Outer petals are salmon-pink with golden-yellow undersides. Tea fragrance, with hints of spiced apple and cloves. Bushy shrub with slightly arching stems and mid-green leaves which are bronze when young.
The name is taken from one of Lord Alfred Tennyson’s poems to commemorate the 200th anniversary of his birth.
Can be planted in part shade and are perfect for pots and hedging.
